With this blog my goal is to share my weight loss journey with whoever find it interesting to read about.
This was me in London last year in August.
At the time this picture was taken I didn't own a scale, so I can't really say what my weight was back then, but what I do know is that it didn't get any better, more likely it even increased.
Christmas 2013
I slept bad and generally didn't feel to good about myself. A friend of mine did start to workout and shiftly lost weight during 2013. I myself resisted as I knew I would not use my gym card if I got one. I had tried once before.
In Februari of this year I decided it was time to do something, again I contemplated getting a gym membership, I toyed with the idea but finally decided against it. Still I wanted to lose weight. Instead of a gym membership I decided I would take up running and try to eat healthier.
As the giant geek I am, I asked myself the question what pieces of the tech I own can I use to aid me in this?
My brother has used a program called Runkeeper on his phone for years, so I decided to take a look at this application. It was one of the best decisions I have made.
I also wanted some application to track my calorie intake I eventually settled on a site and app called Fatsecret.
These two services have really helped me thus far and I can whole heartedly recommend them to anyone that want to lose weight!
It has now been abit over two months since I set out on this journey and this where I am today!
It's not over yet. I have yet to reach my goal, but I'm slowly but surely getting there! The journey continues.
